My room was immaculately clean and huge thanks to the amicable staff. It was in an excellent location with a history museum nearby. - I went to a nice restaurant and loved the local dishes. - Actually everything was lovely, my next choice again in Gettysburg. Revised: the room I stayed in was spotless and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel's location was fantastic, with a history museum close by. I enjoyed a delicious meal at a local restaurant, sampling some of the area's specialties. Overall, my experience at James Gettys Hotel was delightful, and I would choose to stay there again on my next visit to Gettysburg.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to Gettysburg's tourist area and a restaurant. the staff were friendly and not intrusive. - It is centrally located near an award-winning Civil War museum. - They offer delicious meals with plenty of options to choose from. - We had a fantastic time at this property!

The hotel I stayed in during Easter had very clean and private suites with fresh treats in the refrigerator for late-night snacks or early morning goodies. The location was perfect, being on the main street and close to all of the local restaurants and bars. the hotel offered a parking spot in the back, which is a huge advantage in this area.

The noise level was unbearable, especially during Easter celebrations, and made sleeping nearly impossible. the TV's satellite reception is unreliable and goes out during rainstorms.
